Pipeline seats for MSPs
Hire remote SDRs for your MSP's outbound and inbound pipeline
Outbound is the first thing to slip the week a client has an outage. Dokimo places a dedicated remote SDR (sales development representative) who researches prospects, calls and emails, follows up inbound leads and books meetings in your CRM. A named person on your side owns pricing and commitments.
A week of outbound and inbound, from prospect list to booked meeting
The seat starts with research: building target lists from your ideal client profile, finding the right contact at each company, and noting what your closer needs before a first call. From there the SDR works outbound by phone and email, follows up inbound leads (web forms, replies to your campaigns, event lists) inside your response window, qualifies against your criteria, and books the meeting on a named seller's calendar with the notes in the CRM.
Two more jobs ride along. Renewals coordination means tracking agreement anniversaries in your CRM, preparing the renewal list ahead of each date, and booking the conversation for whoever owns the account. CRM upkeep means deduplicated accounts, enforced required fields and stage definitions that mean the same thing to everyone. A clear definition of a qualified meeting, and of who owns the handoff, is what turns all of this into a seat Dokimo can recruit against.
This is a support seat with the authority line drawn first. These seats research, qualify, book and report. Pricing, discounts, commitments and signatures stay with a named person on your side, so the SDR can book a conversation about options but can't quote, concede, promise a response time or send an agreement for signature. It isn't an appointment-setting agency running a campaign from its own systems: the SDR works in yours, on your lists and your sequences, under your direction. Dokimo's employer of record (EOR) partner employs them in their own country and runs their payroll there.
Who owns the calling rules, and which hours a seat can cover
Where a seat calls or texts US contacts, you own the platform, the caller ID, the list and the script. Those calling and texting rules remain your obligations, and Dokimo doesn't supply the dialing service or take them on. Have your own counsel check your setup before the first call goes out, and again when your list sources change.
Be honest with yourself about hours. Live calling needs real overlap with US business hours, because a prospect who picks up at ten in the morning needs a person on the line then, and that narrows the regions and shifts you can use. Written work is less sensitive to region: research, email sequences, renewal prep and CRM upkeep can run on a schedule that only partly overlaps your day. The hours you need covered decide where Dokimo recruits.
Tested on your outreach and your CRM
Every candidate is tested on the real work before you meet them. How they speak and write matters more here than on a back-office seat, because this person talks to your prospects. For this seat the test is an outreach exercise: research a target profile, write the message and log the notes a closer would need.
Nobody arrives already fluent in your CRM, dialer or sending platform, and being good in one CRM doesn't make someone good in yours.
Where an SDR seat is the wrong answer
Don't engage this seat to close. An SDR isn't an account executive, doesn't carry a quota to signature, and shouldn't be handed your late-stage deals. Don't use it to fix a weak offer either: if meetings book and none convert, more dials repeat the problem faster. Test live calling on a small list before you scale it, because how your prospects respond to a caller based abroad is something your own numbers will show. And if you want to hand off calling and the calling rules together, this isn't that. The dialer, the list and the compliance stay yours.
On the CRM side this is an administrator, not an architect. A redesign, a migration or an integration between systems is project work for a specialist, and a poor use of a dedicated seat. The same goes for a burst of list cleanup or a seasonal push. A seat takes time to recruit and ramp, so it doesn't suit a short spike.
Dokimo won't quote a time to shortlist, because the seat and the calling window decide it. The front end is slower than a firm that forwards resumes, and that is deliberate. Contract to hire and direct placement are for Tier 3 technical and technical management seats only, so they don't apply to an SDR seat.
What you get
What the engagement covers, and what is optional
Prospect research and outbound
Target lists built from your profile, then calls and email sequences run from your CRM and your sending platform.
Inbound lead follow-up
Web forms, campaign replies and event lists are worked promptly, qualified against your criteria and routed to the right seller.
Meetings booked for a named seller
Each meeting lands on a calendar with the prospect's context in the CRM, so your closer walks in prepared, and the activity is reported back to your sales lead.
Renewals coordination and CRM upkeep
Agreement anniversaries tracked, renewal lists prepared ahead of each date, and records kept clean, while the account owner sends the terms.
Optional secure remote workstation
One optional package, priced separately from the seat: a US-hosted virtual desktop, centrally revocable access, disclosed productivity and activity monitoring, and managed endpoint security. Worth raising because the seat handles prospect and customer personal data.
Questions
Frequently asked
Who is responsible for calling and texting rules when an SDR calls my prospects?
The responsibility is yours. Where a seat calls or texts US contacts, you own the platform, caller ID, list and script, and the calling and texting rules remain your obligations: do-not-call scrubbing, consent, calling windows and recording consent. Dokimo doesn't supply the dialing service or take those obligations on. Check your setup with your own counsel. Live calling also needs real overlap with US business hours.
Can the SDR quote pricing, offer a discount or send an agreement?
No, an SDR seat can't quote or commit. These seats research, qualify, book and report. Pricing, discounts, commitments and signatures stay with a named person on your side. The SDR books the meeting and leaves the prospect's context in your CRM, and that person sends the quote and the agreement. The same line holds for renewals: the SDR prepares the renewal and books the conversation, and your named person sends the terms.
What does a remote SDR for an MSP cost?
The price depends on the country and on the level of the work. Tell us what the seat needs and we'll send a price. The price covers the SDR's salary, year-end pay and other statutory employer costs, employment through Dokimo's employer of record partner, the search and screening, and one monthly invoice. It excludes your MSP's CRM, dialer and email seats.
How fast can someone start, and what if the SDR isn't the right fit?
Dokimo won't quote a time to shortlist, because the seat and the calling window decide it. If a hire isn't working out in the first 90 days, we find a replacement at no extra cost. Month to month, with no long-term contract.
